4101 MATURITY METER

Electronic temperature measurement gives accurate, predictable concrete strength determinations. Information is used to predict when forms and shoring can be removed and to determine proper time for loading and post-tensioning and need for winter heating and insulation. Reliable, timely strength determinations can improve construction scheduling.

SINGLE CHANNEL MATURITY METER

APPLICATIONS

Accurate, Predictable Concrete Strength Determination.
Form and Shoring Removal Time Prediction.
Loading and Post-Tensioning Time Prediction.
Control of Winter Heating and Insulation Requirements.
Accelerated Construction Scheduling.

Maturity Meter Manual Model 1101

DESCRIPTION

This electronic meter enables accurate, predictable strength determination of cast–inplace concrete using the “Maturity Concept.” It is housed in a water and impact resistant enclosure and includes a long lasting rechargeable Lead Acid battery. Thermocouple temperature sensing is
utilized to enable long or short cable runs and to allow flexibility and ease of placement of the temperature sensor. Low cost, type “T” thermocouple wire is used and is available in accuracies of ± 0.5 or ±1.0 degree C. Cold junction compensation, linearization and high impedance input provide accurate temperature measurement. Status indicators provide on screen display of open-circuit and
over/under range monitors. Connections are made via a quick connect thermocouple jack.
Temperature, cumulative degree-hour (TTF) and, cumulative hours are displayed simultaneously on a ½ “ high LCD. The unit power reset circuit is magnetically operated to prevent accidental turn off. Back light display accessible by momentary front panel switch.
