ERUDITE

The ERUDITE is an electronic resonant frequency test system used by Quality Control and Research Department to determine the dynamic moduli of elasticity and rigidity of sample blocks of concrete.  The ERUDITE automatically measures the fundamental longitudinal, torsional and transverse resonant frequencies, and calculates the damping constant Q.

APPLICATIONS:

Primarily used for testing concrete, carbon, graphite, and ceramic samples.

 STANDARDS:

Conforms to BS1881 Part 209, and ASTM C215; standard test method for fundamental transverse longitudinal and torsional frequencies of concrete, and ASTM C666, standard test method for resistance of concrete to rapid freezing and thawing.
